"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

"27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
John 14

" Pain is a gauge of the healing process. It often teaches us patience. Perhaps that is why we use the term patient in referring to the sick."
"Much of our suffering is not necessarily our fault. Unexpected events, contradicting or disappointing circumstances, interrupting illness, and even death surround us and penetrate our mortal experience. Additionally, we may suffer afflictions because of the actions of others. Opposition is part of Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness. We all encounter enough to bring us to an awareness of our Father’s love and of our need for the Savior’s help.
The Savior is not a silent observer. He Himself knows personally and infinitely the pain we face."
Whenever I think about my Savior there are a few words that come to my mind such as: Rescue, safety, comfort, peace, love, hope, brother, compassion, guardian, help and so many more. There is one word that has recently stood out to me though and that is “solace”.
Solace:
1. Relief from emotional distress, comfort at a time of sadness, grief, or disappointment
2. Source of comfort,  somebody or something that provides comfort at a time of sadness, grief, or disappointment
The greatest source of comfort is our savior Jesus Christ.
"Hope is an abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promises to you. It is manifest in confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, and patient perseverance. It is believing and expecting that something will occur. When you have hope, you work through trials and difficulties with the confidence and assurance that all things will work together for your good. Hope helps discouragement."
"Discouragement will weaken your faith. If you lower your expectations, your effectiveness will decrease, your desire will weaken, and you will have greater difficulty following the spirit."
-Preach My Gospel
When ever you feel alone take a moment to ponder about the different blessings you have been give, pray for help to see Gods hand more in your life, recognize that you are never alone that the Savior has felt all things, He knows all things and He can fix all things.
